About us

We know legal technology because we have built it.

Now we use that insider knowledge to help you make smarter decisions.

What makes us different: We don't take referral fees from vendors. We don't upsell implementation services. We don't push whatever solution pays the highest commission. We provide vendor neutral Legal Technology advisory that serves one client: you.

Our services include vendor selection, RFP facilitation, TCO analysis, implementation readiness, and agentic AI support. Whether you're buying your first CLM platform or replacing one that failed, we help you choose the right solution and prepare your organization to succeed with it.

Our Founder

Before advising legal teams on CLM and AI strategy, Grant spent 15 years inside the companies building these platforms. As General Manager at Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions, Enterprise Sales Director at Conga, VP of Business Development at Exari, and Director of Legal Technology at HBR Consulting, he saw firsthand what vendors promise in demos versus what actually ships in production, and how most implementations fail long before go-live.

Before moving into legal tech, Grant practiced real estate and transactional law at Polsinelli, representing developers and corporate clients in complex commercial transactions. That combination of practitioner experience and vendor-side operator knowledge is rare in this space, and it's what drives every Know CLM engagement.

Grant holds a J.D. from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law and a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
